Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice will host an afternoon of jazz this June in the gardens of the picturesque Hampton Estate in Seale.

The event takes place on Sunday, June 2 and Phyllis Tuckwell invites attendees to bring picnics and chairs to enjoy on the lawn, whilst taking in the herbaceous borders, walled garden and far-reaching views of the Repton-designed landscape.

Guests may also recognise the gardens from scenes in Poirot’s The Hollow, Mothering Sunday, Midsummer Murders and Ammonite.

From 3pm to 5pm, 16-piece jazz orchestra The Barnes Big Band will play music from jazz legends including Quincy Jones, as well as original music.

Refreshments and raffle tickets will be available to purchase, and a pop-up Phyllis Tuckwell stall will be selling a range of items from its shops.

Tickets cost £50, including a complimentary drink, ice cream and summer berries.
